my very own shoe box

hello everyone...just a little update.

So, this weekend I just moved into my very own studio (athough some might call it a "shoe box" or "dorm") in Golden, Colorado. I am so happy to finally be out of my apt in Boulder bc my roommate was not the most ideal person to live with. Anyway, Brad helped me move yesterday. We managed to fit everything into my car and Brad's friend's pickup but barely. We only had one casualty driving from Boulder to Golden, one of my old Mizzou soccer jerseys flew out of a storage crate when the lid flew off. I will def be on the lookout for it driving to and from work everyday. This first pic is the best view of the shoe box. I really think I will love living here and having it all to myself. :)

Brad relaxin...we had a LONG saturday moving.

I finally have a (clean) kitchen that I will actually want to cook something in.
and we did this morning...we whipped up some delicious eggs and cafe o lait.

lovin my new couch/bed (for guests...anyone want to visit?) :)

rockin out...
i think we are going to hang the guitar on the wall right next to my hoi an painting.

I know, its been awhile...

so...I know its been awhile and Jen and Foley have been nagging me to update this blog but I feel like there isnt much to update about so here is a pretty random post.

Today in Denver the temperature hit 70degrees so of course I headed to the mountains to get in some of that warm weather skiing. It was probably like 40 up in the mountains and most of the time too warm for the winter jackets Brad and I were wearing. (minor complaint) Anyway, it was a great day of skiing even if the snow was a tad bit slushy. and the best part of the day was that I got to wear flip flops! ha.

(the first pic is the view of the Boulder flatiron mountains from my apt window with the morning sun.)

loving the flip flops and snow.

I usually ski with poles.
